Premiere 2013

A building that is constantly changing, corrugated iron panels have been installed and oil drilling rigs have been exchanged. The oil pump had to be mobile and the towers were just 14m high.

The barn , which can be walked from bottom to top, has two large swing gates, walkways, barrels and tubes, a platform and, most importantly, two tall towers that change places during the performance.

Lurking inside is an oil drilling pump, which stands on rails and can be moved, of course colliding with the Iron Curtain, and which is also supposed to be ridden by a Valkyrie while oil is being extracted.

The outer shell of the building consists of corrugated iron, wooden boards and painted panels that are attached and removed, the sail over the pedestal is unfurled on an open stage, the fire in the oil drum is lit.

The defined positions of the support columns of the barn and platform construction made precise networking with the construction of the stage wagon necessary, as this is where the loads were introduced and this was also decisive for the position of the rollers.

The towers, one clad, one an open skeleton with drill rods, had to be assembled later with point hoists, since they were built as a unit and also stood on the outer drive ring. Laid on their side, they could be driven out of the house with the appropriate transport trolley.
